Enrique gets down and dirty with this one. Actually there were two versions recorded. “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)” was released for the radio friendly listeners and the other being completely uncensored for club DJs. He’s not known to record expletive material. Rapper Ludacris is the featured artist. This song is one of his 11 number one dance chart hits, in addition to reaching #4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 all-genre chart. 3. “Be With You” (2000) That's a clever idea to use a ping pong ball as a sampling for a percussion track, which is how the song got its name. The music video shows him outdoors for a change instead of some dark crowded dance club. He performed this on another reality competition show, “Dancing with the Stars.” “Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song)” is another of his top 40 hits that peaked at #21. 7. “Not in Love” (2004) Julio Iglesias, Enrique’s father, at the time was one of the most successful international singers during the 1970s and 1980s. Julio was beginning to make a mark in the U.S. English-language market. He had a hit single from a duet with Diana Ross. Now in the mid-’90s Enrique began following in his father's footsteps. He certainly had some very big shoes to fill. Lo and behold Enrique Iglesias has done that and more. He's now won one Grammy and four Latin Grammys, in addition to many Billboard Music Awards, Billboard Latin Music Awards, and American Music Awards. Many of his charted songs feature popular R&B artists and rappers. This one is no exception. Usher and Lil Wayne (in a remix version) are Enrique’s special guest vocalists. Usher and Enrique have wanted to work together for a while. “Dirty Dancer” is one of his 12 top 40 hits and peaked at #1 on Billboard’s dance chart. Iglesias has more than successfully crossed-over to the English-language market. He scored two number one singles and five in the top ten. In 2014 he released his latest album 'Sex and Love.' Overall, Iglesias has sold over 40 million albums in the English-language market. It's only fitting that Enrique Iglesias be featured with his own top 10 songs list. These come from his English albums as well as the 1999 self-titled bilingual album Enrique , rather than his early Spanish recordings. Most of his hit songs have also charted in the Latin music genre. Incidentally, Enrique is expected to make a full recovery with his recent finger injury. 9. “Dirty Dancer” (2010) Billboard has labeled him “The King of Latin Pop” and “The King of Dance” (music genre). Enrique Iglesias is a Grammy-winning recording artist who holds the record for 25 number one singles in the Spanish-language. In 1999 he became a successful crossover artist. Ever since then Enrique has sold over 60 million albums in English and Spanish. He’s also been in the news recently. When performing in concert in Tijuana, Mexico on May 31, he grabbed a flying drone camera to get a better view of the stage for the fans. Instead, he severely cut his middle finger from the drone’s propeller. Not only is Enrique's talent in singing, but also in songwriting. He has written many of his songs, including this one. Kara DioGuardi, a former judge on American Idol, was also on his songwriting team for "Escape". The music video features his long-time girlfriend Anna Kournikova, a professional tennis player. Needless to say the music video and song are very sexy. It became a top 40 hit and reached number one on the dance chart. “Be With You” is one of two songs on the list that reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This dance/pop song has a beautiful opening with the flamenco guitar. Then it goes right into a fast, steady tempo throughout. Enrique wrote this song along with the songwriting team responsible for Cher's big hit "Believe". It has that same influential resonance. Once again his music video features a well-known actress, this time it’s Elizabeth Shannon. We come to one of his many poignant songs where he wears his heart on his sleeve. This track from the 7 album is about love addiction. He stated in a radio interview the inspiration for the “Addicted” music video was from the film "Midnight Express". In the music video film and TV actress Mischa Barton is the female lead and love interest. It's his debut crossover hit that peaked at #1 on the coveted Hot 100 pop chart as well as the Latin and dance charts. “Bailamos” in English means "we dance". You can hear the song featured in the soundtrack of Will Smith's film "Wild Wild West." Its strong Latin influence is sometimes sorely missed in his other English-language songs. The music video is blazing hot with flamenco dancers in a nightclub. 4. “Escape” (2001) While as a special guest on the reality TV competition show "America's Next Top Model," the models main challenge for that episode was to be in his music video. It was being filmed at a nightclub (and not a very glamorous music video shoot at that). They’re mostly in the background when you see it now. “Not in Love” features Kelis, a hip hop musician. Here’s another track that come from Enrique’s 7 . Of course “Not in Love” made it to number one on the dance chart. 5. “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)” (2010) 10. “I Like It” (2010) 2. “Bailamos” (1999) 8. “Addicted” (2003) The top 10 Enrique Iglesias songs of all time. 1. “Hero” (2001) 6. “Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song)” (2007) Even though this song didn’t reach #1 (except on dance), it peaked at number three on the pop chart. It’s often attached as Enrique's biggest hit to date. You could definitely say it is his signature song. "Hero" was one of the few songs chosen by NY radio DJs shortly after the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. The song would be remixed with audio from NYPD police officers, firefighters and others involved with Ground Zero. The music video seems more like a big budget short film. It stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mickey Rourke. “Hero’s” video starts out very romantic and ends tragically. Either way, it’s a deeply moving and unforgettable song that will definitely stay with you. You can hear this tune featured in many regional and national TV ads. It’s no wonder because of its infectious intro and hook. “I Like It” features Miami rapper Pitbull. Enrique spent a great deal of his childhood in Miami after his grandfather’s kidnapping in Spain. This is one of his numerous dance songs that made him the King of Dance. It was written by Iglesias, RedOne, Pitbull, and Lionel Richie. Not surprising, the song reached #1 on the dance chart and #4 on Billboard’s Hot 100. .
